About this policy

SkyAI is a trading name of SkyAI Tech Pty Ltd (ABN 32 683 670 797). In this policy, "SkyAI", "we" and "us" mean SkyAI Tech Pty Ltd. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The policy covers our website, our services, and our dealings with clients, partners, suppliers and job applicants.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to do business with you. Usually that is:

• Enquiries: your name, work email, company, phone number, and the details you share when you request an assessment or contact us.
• Business contacts: names, job titles and contact details of people at our clients, partners and suppliers.
• Service delivery: personal information in client systems we support (for example service desk or HR data), handled only as our client instructs and under their contract.
• Job applicants: your CV, work history, qualifications and referee details.
• Website data: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept for security and troubleshooting.

We collect most information directly from you. Sometimes it comes from your employer, a partner, or public sources such as LinkedIn. You can deal with us without giving personal information, but we may then be unable to respond or provide a service.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiry and send you a copy of what you submitted
• deliver, support and improve our services
• manage our relationships with clients, partners and suppliers, including contracts and invoicing
• assess job applications
• keep our website and systems secure
• meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations

We do not send marketing newsletters, and we do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only when we need to:

• Our delivery teams: SkyAI staff and related entities in Australia, New Zealand and India (Pune, Chennai and Kochi) who work on your engagement.
• Service providers: trusted suppliers that run our systems, such as Microsoft 365 for email and documents (hosted in Australia) and Netlify for website hosting (which may process data in the United States and other countries).
• When required by law: regulators, courts or law enforcement, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
• With your consent: anyone else you ask or agree to us sharing with.

When information leaves Australia, we take reasonable steps under the Australian Privacy Principles to make sure the recipient protects it. That includes contracts and our own security controls.

How we protect it

SkyAI is ISO 27001 certified. Our information security management system covers how we protect personal information, including access controls, encryption, least-privilege access and staff training.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as the law requires. After that, we securely delete or de-identify it. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

Cookies and analytics

Our website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and performance. Links to other websites, such as our partners', are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.

Your rights and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. We will respond within 30 days. We will explain if the law lets us refuse a request.

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first using the details below and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
